The 2026 Taipei International Automation Industry Exhibition is in full swing. The Chairman of ICAA personally visited the exhibition to meet with participating members and expressed gratitude for their warm hospitality and exchanges. The exhibition showcased diverse innovative achievements in smart manufacturing, automation technology, and AI applications, fully demonstrating the vibrant innovative energy and industrial strength of Taiwan's smart industry. ICAA sincerely wishes all participating members a successful exhibition, abundant business opportunities, and fruitful cooperation, and looks forward to continuing to work together to explore more new industrial opportunities and create a new future for smart manufacturing!

The ICAA (Industrial Computer & IoT Association) sincerely thanks Dr. Dai Ying-mei of the Institute of Electronics and Optoelectronics at the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) and Manager Xie Hui-qi for visiting and engaging in discussions. The meeting featured in-depth discussions on smart module initiatives, potential industry collaboration projects, member company needs, and plans for future exchange activities.

This meeting focused on connecting ICAA member companies with ITRI’s technical capabilities. We hope to accelerate the implementation of smart manufacturing, edge computing, smart healthcare, chip modules, and AIoT applications by integrating institutional R&D resources, industry field requirements, and member companies’ solutions.

The ICAA (Industrial Computer and AIoT Association) continues to consolidate the collective strength of Taiwanese enterprises across the smart industry, industrial computing, AIoT, edge computing, smart manufacturing, and embedded systems sectors. In 2026, over 50 ICAA corporate member companies will gather at COMPUTEX 2026 to leverage this world-class exhibition platform and collectively demonstrate the innovation capabilities, application achievements, and global competitiveness of Taiwan’s smart technology industrial chain.

ICAA enterprise members participated in the annual flagship event “AI EXPO Taiwan 2026” held at Taipei Expo Park.

Organized by DIGITIMES, co-organized with IC之音竹科廣播 and 智慧運算與量子資訊學院, and supported by multiple public and industry organizations, the event highlights the convergence of AI technology, industry, and social impact.

During the Smart City Expo, International Cooperation Center, Institute for Information Industry brought together leading smart hardware and IoT associations from New Southbound countries and Europe.

Represented by Secretary General Fang-Ying Lin and Consultant Cheng-Ping Huang, ICAA showcased Taiwan’s top-tier technology platform and enabled members to directly connect with global opportunities.

As global industries accelerate the adoption of AI, edge computing, and smart manufacturing applications, Taiwan's technology sector continues to enhance its overall competitiveness in international markets. Over 100 corporate members of the Industrial Computer Association for IoT (ICAA) jointly participated in Germany's EW 2026 Expo, showcasing Taiwan's technological depth and industrial chain integration capabilities in industrial computing, AIoT, smart manufacturing, edge computing, and system integration.

ICAA’s corporate members continue to strengthen their presence at major international trade shows. A total of 49 corporate member companies will participate in Embedded World 2026 in Germany (EW 2026 EXPO). This collective presence not only showcases Taiwan’s overall capabilities in industrial computing, AIoT, edge computing, and smart manufacturing, but also accelerates cross-border collaboration through on-site engagement with European system integrators, channel partners, and end customers—further boosting member companies’ brand visibility and business development opportunities across German-speaking regions and the broader European market.
