AIM101 and Metis® AIPU deliver data center-grade performance

Axiomtek's latest edge AI system, AIM101, now seamlessly integrates with the Axelera® M.2 AI inference accelerator card, equipped with a quad-core Metis® AIPU. This powerful combination brings data center-grade AI computing performance directly to the edge, enabling real-time computer vision processing, providing faster and more efficient inference capabilities, effectively reducing latency, and further expanding AI-driven industrial automation applications.

Highly scalable and durable design, purpose-built for edge applications

Axiomtek's next-generation edge intelligence platform, the AIM101, features a fanless design, an Intel® N150 CPU, and supports a variety of AI accelerator cards. It delivers up to 100 TOPS of performance via a PCIe Gen3 x4 M.2 slot. The system offers comprehensive connectivity, including dual 2.5GbE LAN, USB 3.2, HDMI, and Wi-Fi 6E and LTE wireless communication. It also supports a wide-range power input from 9 to 36 VDC, along with built-in smart ignition functionality and flexible power control for USB/LTE devices, making it ideal for edge deployments. Its rugged and compact design, coupled with an operating temperature range of -20°C to 60°C, ensures stable operation in demanding environments such as machine vision, image analysis, and real-time AI inference.

Metis® AIPU and Voyager® SDK: Optimizing Performance and Efficiency

The Metis AI Processing Unit (MPU), launched by Axelera® AI, is tailored for edge applications, combining high-performance computing with energy efficiency. Combined with the Voyager® SDK, it allows different AI frameworks to store model data in the same format and interoperate with each other, providing a fast-deployment, easy-to-integrate, and user-friendly data pipeline environment.
