ICAA Association's Hundred Corporate Members Advance to Germany's EW 2026 Expo, Taiwan's Tech Industry Ecosystem Gains Global Attention

[TAIPEI] As global industries accelerate the adoption of AI, edge computing, and smart manufacturing applications, Taiwan's technology sector continues to enhance its overall competitiveness in international markets. Over 100 corporate members of the Industrial Computer Association for IoT (ICAA) jointly participated in Germany's EW 2026 Expo, showcasing Taiwan's technological depth and industrial chain integration capabilities in industrial computing, AIoT, smart manufacturing, edge computing, and system integration.

ICAA Chairman Lu Guqing emphasized that Taiwan's technological edge stems not only from individual companies' capabilities but also from a comprehensive, highly synergistic industrial ecosystem. Through ICAA's platform, member enterprises forge closer collaborations in technology partnerships, resource integration, and global market expansion, further bolstering collective competitiveness. Participating corporate members span multiple critical sectors including industrial computers, smart retail, defense technology, AIoT, edge computing, and automation applications. From core components and platform architectures to complete solutions, this demonstrates the strengths of Taiwan's technology supply chain: a well-defined division of labor and a tightly collaborative industrial ecosystem. Facing rapidly rising global demand for intelligent, automated, and digital transformation, Taiwanese tech companies' long-accumulated R&D, manufacturing, and integration capabilities are progressively transforming into key drivers for expanding international markets.

Amidst global supply chain restructuring and intensifying technological competition, Taiwanese enterprises are evolving from single-point manufacturing capabilities toward cross-domain integration and high-value-added application deployment. The association will continue to deepen member companies' connections in AI, smart manufacturing, critical infrastructure, and international cooperation, helping Taiwan's tech industry enhance its global visibility and international influence. The EW 2026 Expo is also seen as a key indicator of Taiwanese tech companies expanding their European market footprint. As more enterprises enter international markets through joint exhibitions and collaborative partnerships, the overall strength of Taiwan's tech industry ecosystem is becoming a focal point for global industrial chains.
