AAEON Launches PICO-TWL4 2.5” Pico-ITX SBC Featuring Intel® Processor

Taipei, Taiwan – AAEON Technology Inc. (TWSE: 6579) proudly announces the release of the PICO-TWL4, a 2.5-inch Pico-ITX single board computer powered by the Intel® Processor N Series (formerly codenamed Twin Lake). This latest addition to AAEON’s Pico-ITX lineup combines the high single-thread and multi-thread processing performance of Intel’s latest platform with AAEON’s signature rugged, industrial-grade design.

The PICO-TWL4 is available in multiple configurations, supporting either a 6W quad-core Intel® Processor N150 or a 15W octa-core Intel® Core™ 3 Processor N355. It supports up to 16GB of DDR5 memory via a SODIMM slot and is equipped with dual Ethernet ports (2.5GbE and 1GbE), as well as six USB interfaces—two physical USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and four USB 2.0 ports via pin headers. For display output, the board supports both LVDS and HDMI connections.

For storage flexibility, the PICO-TWL4 features one SATA port along with a full-size mSATA or mPCIe slot. An M.2 2280 E-Key slot is also available, enabling easy installation of wireless modules such as Wi-Fi cards, addressing diverse wireless networking needs in automation environments.

The board offers rich internal I/O, including four COM port headers (two supporting RS-232/422/485 and two supporting RS-232), 4-bit GPIO, and SMBus, with the option to substitute SMBus with I2C for greater integration flexibility. An optional lockable DC jack ensures stable power delivery, even in high-vibration industrial environments, enhancing operational reliability.
