Disclaimer and Authorization Terms

The Intelligent Computing & IoT Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as "the Association" or "ICAA") is dedicated to advancing industry collaboration and the practical implementation of smart technologies. To protect the rights of ICAA, participating member companies, content providers, and event attendees, and to clarify legal responsibilities and licensing terms concerning text, images, video, audio, data, and publication content, the following terms are established:

1. Accuracy of Information and Risk Disclaimer

  1. The contents of this material have been compiled by ICAA or its member companies at the time of writing/provision. Information such as technical specifications, market trends, application scenarios, and product descriptions reflect the understanding at the time and are not guaranteed to be permanently accurate or fully consistent with future applications.
  2. This document is a non-binding technical reference and is intended solely for corporate decision-making reference. All users must independently assess its applicability and assume full responsibility for any risks or consequences arising from its use.
  3. ICAA and the content providers shall not be held liable—civilly or criminally—for any indirect losses, commercial misjudgments, or technical disputes arising from actions taken based on this material.

2. Copyright and Content Usage Guidelines

  1. 1. All text, design elements, charts, layouts, structures, and overall content in this document (unless otherwise indicated) are the property of ICAA or the original provider (such as member companies or partner organizations) and are protected under copyright law and international intellectual property treaties.
  2. 2. The following acts are strictly prohibited without prior written consent: full reproduction, partial excerpting and re-editing, content repurposing, use in commercial advertisements, or redistribution. Violators may be subject to legal action by ICAA.
  3. 3. Approved citations must:
    (1) Retain the original paragraph and context integrity;
    (2) Clearly state the source as “Intelligent Computing & IoT Industry Association (ICAA)” and the content provider;
    (3) Not result in misleading or distorted technical interpretations.

3. Licensing Terms for Photos, Videos, and Visual Materials

  1. All activity photos, product images, portraits, illustrations, and audio/video content included in this document are provided by member companies, partners, or ICAA, with written authorization obtained. Authorized usage is strictly limited to:
     • Industry promotion, event documentation, educational use, public relations, and online publication
     • Printed formats, PDFs, e-newsletters, presentation slides, conference materials, and social media posts
  2. All portraits, logos, trademarks, and product images remain the intellectual property of their respective companies. They may not be reused or transferred for secondary commercial purposes without explicit authorization. If you are the rights holder and object to further use, please notify ICAA in writing to request cessation.
  3. If any user captures screenshots, reposts, or commercially edits visual content without authorization, resulting in infringement claims, ICAA shall not be held liable. The user shall bear full legal responsibility.

4. Third-Party Content Reference and Liability Disclaimer

  1. If this document references third-party reports, news sources, research data, regulations, or government announcements, all efforts have been made to cite original sources in accordance with the "Fair Use Principle."
  2. The accuracy and timeliness of such references shall be subject to the official statements of the original publishing bodies. ICAA assumes no responsibility for their correctness or the risks of subsequent use.
  3. If the original provider objects to the use of such materials, please notify ICAA, and we will promptly remove the content upon verification.

5. Member Company Participation and Authorization Statement

Companies participating in ICAA events, publications, or providing materials agree to the following:

  1. 1. Event Participation and Disclaimer
    • Any opinions or actions expressed by your company’s representatives at forums, seminars, exhibitions, or events organized by ICAA are their own and do not represent the stance of the Association.
    • ICAA shall not be held responsible for any losses or liabilities caused by force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, transportation disruptions, or technical failures) that lead to the postponement or cancellation of events.
    • Your company shall bear responsibility for any injuries or property damage occurring during event participation.
  2. 2. Authorization for Use of Portraits and Statements
    • our company hereby grants ICAA the right to use photos, audio recordings, and statements made by your representatives during events for the following purposes:
      (1) Event documentation, press releases, website content, social media, post-event presentations
      (2) Digital catalogs, promotional videos, and official publications
    • This license is non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, and sublicensable for collaborative promotion.
    • If there are materials your company does not wish to authorize, a written statement must be submitted prior to the event. Otherwise, it will be deemed authorized by default.
  3. 3. Authorization for Technical and Marketing Content
    • If your company provides presentations, technical white papers, case studies, or marketing materials, you must ensure that all intellectual property rights have been properly authorized and that there is no infringement of third-party rights.
    • ICAA may edit, format, and publish such content under the condition that the original meaning is preserved, and the source is clearly credited. If a dispute arises post-publication, ICAA may remove the content upon request but assumes no liability for damages.

6. Legal Effect and Dispute Resolution

  1. This disclaimer and authorization shall take effect from the date of material publication, event registration, or document submission.
  2. All disputes related to these terms shall be resolved through mutual negotiation. If no agreement can be reached, the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan) shall govern, and the Taipei District Court shall serve as the court of first instance.
